The Edie Scholarship

Edie Opportunity
Each Discovery Involves Eleven Project
Project Edie O. is based on the educational premise that each invention or discovery is the result of acknowledging eleven core ethical principles of effective character education. Because each advancement towards a possibility is subconsciously fueled by the desire for social change, it is our belief that students of this mindset and caliber should not be financially limited in pursuing their dreams. In recognition of these beliefs, students who have been accepted into the Intellectual Practice and Project RED Programs of the Jeune Hope Chicago Initiative, will be given an opportunity to apply for the scholarship.

For more information about the Edie Opportunity Project, click here.
The PROJECT RED program is geared towards offering financial assistance to teens who anticipate having a difficult time covering the cost of prom and/or finding a prom date. The Spaulding & Daniels Leadership Group partners coach and support program participants through a series of fundraising efforts and provide them with networking opportunities to help them connect with other students who may be in the same situation. Dedication

The Project RED and Intellectual Practice Programs are dedicated to Rebecca Spaulding and Everlene Daniels Chambers—the grandmothers of our CEO-- both of which contributed so much to her life and so many others. It is because of their inspiration, their gift of giving, and their belief in community service that these programs are able to exist.
